AERIAL CLASSES

Aerial Yoga

Sunday 10:00-11:00 AM

Aerial Yoga is a hybrid of a yoga class and an aerial hammock class. This class incorporates strengthening and stretching components of yoga and excitement of flying and swinging of aerial hammock. Please bring a yoga mat.

Flex Fit

Tuesday 8:30-9:30 PM

Flexibility conditioning based class that is appropriate for all levels. This class focuses on both active and passive flexibility. You will leave feeling more bendy and stronger. Multiple areas of the body will be targeted in each class.

Intro to Aerial Appartus

This is a sample class introduce you to 3 apparatus. Silks, Aerial Hammock (sling), and Aerial Hoop (lyra)
This class includes an active warm-up basic techniques for entrances, exits, sitting, balancing, and inverting

Aerial Fabric Level 1

Monday 7:15-8:30 PM

This is an introduction to aerial fabric. The silk will be straight and knotted. Students will learn basic skills that build to dynamic movements like climbing, wrapping, and making shapes while suspended by silk fabric. This class is fun, beginner friendly, and the perfect introduction to Aerial Silk fabric. There are no prerequisites to take this class; it is designed to help you build the strength, technique, and vocabulary needed to progress efficiently in our fabric classes. Come prepared to work hard and have fun trying something new!

Aerial Fabric Level 2

Tuesday 5:30-6:45 PM

The aerial silks are two hanging pieces of strong fabric that allow the student to explore movement, poses, transitions and aerial dance. Students will learn basic vocabulary, build strength and coordination needed for fluid movement.

Lyra Level 1

Wednesday 7:00-8:15 PM

Aerial hoop or lyra is a vertical hanging circular steel apparatus that can be rigged as either a single point and double point set at different heights off the floor. You will learn various mounts, poses/shapes and dismounts.
This class is appropriate for beginners! No previous experience required.

Lyra Level 2

Thursday 5:30-6:45 PM

The aerial hoop/lyra is a vertical hanging circular steel apparatus that allows the student to explore movement, poses, transitions and aerial dance. Students will learn basic vocabulary, build strength and coordination needed for fluid movement.

Sling Level 1

Wednesday 5:30-6:45 PM

The aerial sling is a silk/fabric suspended 4-5 ft off the mat in a closed loop allowing the student to explore movement, poses, transitions and aerial dance. Students will learn basic vocabulary, build strength and coordination needed for fluid movement.

Sling Level 2

Sunday 11:30-12:45 PM

The aerial sling is a silk/fabric suspended 4-5 ft off the mat in a closed loop allowing the student to explore movement, poses, transitions and aerial dance. Students will learn basic vocabulary, build strength and coordination needed for fluid movement.

Lyra Level 3

Thursday 7:00-8:15 PM

Prerequisites include pullover and straddle mounts. This class is for students who have completed the Level 2 curriculum or by direct permission of the Aerial Annex manager Rebecca. Each session is an 8 week series which progressively builds your skills, strength and grace.

Sling Level 3

Sunday 1:00-2:15 PM

Prerequisites include pullover mount, clean straddle invert and strong bent arm hang with tuck rocks working towards aerial inverts. This class is for students who have completed the Level 2 curriculum or by direct permission of the Aerial Annex manager Rebecca. Each session is an 8 week series which progressively builds your skills, strength and grace.

Aerial Fabric Level 3

Tuesday 7:00-8:15 PM

Ready to up your silks game? Prerequisites include basic climb, straddle invert and strong bent arm hang with tuck rocks working towards aerial inverts. This class is for students who have completed the Level 2 curriculum or by direct permission of the Aerial Annex manager Rebecca. Each session is an 8 week series which progressively builds your skills, strength and grace.

Pole Barre

Saturday 10:45-11:45 PM

Pole Barre incorporates traditional Barre Method using a vertical pole or aerial sling for balance and assistance to tone.

Rules on all Aerial Apparatus

Proper attire must be worn while participating in aerial acrobatics activities:

a. All jewelry and watches must be removed.
b. Piercings must be removed or covered with tape.
c. Hair that is long enough to swing in front of the face must be secured back.
d. Clothing must be form fitting and must cover the participant's back, abdomen, armpits and area behind the knees. Zippers must be covered with tape.
e. Unsupervised practice is strictly forbidden. Trained aerial acrobatics instructors must be onsite and actively
supervising participants during open gym periods.
f. The use of recreational and/or illegal drugs, alcohol or controlled substances is strictly prohibited at all times during aerial acrobatics activities.

All Class passes have a limited time use, valid and redeemable from the date of purchase, 2 week unlimited pass is valid for 14 days, 1 month pass is valid for 30 days and all other passes are valid for 90 days. All class passes are non-refundable.
